Contents of year-end session of provincial People’s Council approved

Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, on November 13, presided over a session to approve some contents of the year-end session of provincial People’s Council.

At the session, delegates considered and made contributive ideas to the following contents: a report on socio-economic development, national defence-security in 2018 and tasks, solutions for 2019; a draft decree on socio-economic development plan for 2019; a report on public investment in 2018 and plan for 2019; a report on State budget-finance for 2019-2021; a plan on the State budget estimate and the allocation for 2019…

According to a draft report of provincial People’s Committee, in 2018, the province reached positive and comprehensive results in socio-economic development. The province’s Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) value was estimated to surge 8.5% compared to 2017. The province’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) was estimated at growing by 9.8% against 2017; agro-forestry and fishery production value by 3.8%; services by 10.3%. The province’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services was estimated at surging 20.1%; export value, 15.5%; total capital for social investment, 12%; State budget collection with VND50trillion. The province’s FDI attraction reached more than VND1.6billion. Social welfare and other social fields in the province were also ensured…

Concluding the session, Mr.Lien asked for sectors and authorities at all levels of the province to recheck and reach unanimity on 2018’s figures; especially emphasize domestic and international events organized in the province. From now till year-end, they need to make efforts to fulfill 2018’s plan for socio-economic development.
