Cooperatives in North Tan Uyen work effectively

North Tan Uyen district is now home to 15 cooperatives and 6 cooperative groups stably operating in the fields of agriculture, trade-services, transportation, construction, home industry…

Noticeably, Nhuan Duc Cooperative reached more than VND2billion in revenue in Q1, 2019 with the average income of laborers at VND6.4million per person per month. Some other cooperatives, namely Tan My, Nhat Hung, Toan Luc…also secured high revenue during the period at VND1.9billion, more than VND66.1billion and VND57billion, respectively.

Nguyen Thanh Tam, Head of the district’s Division of Finance and Planning said that the district’s potential for cooperative economic is very great. Over the past time, district-based cooperatives worked very effectively in line with the Law on Cooperative 2012. But, there are now some ineffective cooperatives reported in the district. The district is also mobilizing these cooperatives to change production models or make procedures to dissolve.
