Covid-19 prevention and control associated with completion of political tasks in 2021

The Executive Board of TDM city’s 12^th Party Committee held its 11^th  online open session on July 5.

Since early this year, the city’s Party Committee have focused on directing its Party cells to well realize Party building, especially the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure, tasks for 2021 while promoting programs, projects and plans to implement the Resolution of the city’s 12th Party congress for the 2020-2025 tenure.

In the first 6 months of the year, the city's socio-economic situation faced many difficulties, due to the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic. In such conditions, the city continued taking measures against the pandemic while maintaining and promoting the local socio-economic development.

Over the past 6 months, the city’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services was more than VND 91.51 trillion, an increase of more than 12%. The city’s industrial production value was more than VND 23.88 trillion, an increase of nearly 12% over the same period last year. The city also paid more attention to  grasping  the developments of Covid-19 pandemic, setting up plans against the pandemic; promptly implemented medical isolation, blockade and took measures to temporarily close locations where Covid-19 patients passed...

From now to year-end, the city’s Party Committee will focus on directing the implementation of key tasks in Party building work; continue carrying out the Resolution of the city’s 12th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 tenure. The city’s People's Committee will also bend on directing Covid-19 prevention and control, ensuring sufficient medical equipment; rechecking programs and plans to implement the Resolution of the city’s 12^th Party congress for the 2020-2025 tenure and the Resolution of the city’s Party Committee in 2021...
