Cultural tourism industry of the province is on the rise

 On July 16, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to sum up the 3-year implementation of the development strategy for Vietnam's cultural industries.

Since 2017, along with the province's industrial development and the impact of Industry 4.0, the cultural industry in the province has prospered. Goods and services are diverse in types and forms, meeting the requirements of quantity and quality, meeting the increasing and varied cultural demands of the people, being able to create beautiful spiritual products and bring practical economic effects. 

The provincial cultural branch will continue to carry out activities as planned by Provincial People's Committee; determine to stimulate tourism development, effectively exploit geographical advantages and tourism potential; take advantage of and develop Saigon River boat routes to bring tourists to Binh Duong, especially international tourists... For the period 2021-2030, the province strives to increase revenue of cultural industries and contribute from 1.5 to 2% to GRDP of the province.

On this occasion, Provincial People's Committee commended and rewarded 16 collectives and 16 individuals having outstanding results over 3 years implementing development strategy of Vietnam's cultural industries by 2020, with a vision towards 2030.
