Dau Tieng District to launch Tree planting festival 2020

On May 22nd, at Cultural, Sports and Community Learning Center of Dinh Thanh commune, Dau Tieng District People's Committee in collaboration with Agribank - Binh Duong branch held the launching ceremony of Tree planting festival 2020 - Eternally be grateful to Uncle Ho. 

Recognizing the practical value and deep meaning of tree planting from Uncle Ho, Party Committee, authorities and people of Dau Tieng District responded to tree planting with practical actions, such as: Launching Tree planting festival 2020 - Eternally be grateful to Uncle Ho on occasion of Uncle Ho's birth day (May 19); communicating to raise people's awareness of the significance of greenery to the environment; encouraging people to actively participate in planting trees in living and working areas... These were practical actions that helped spreading the learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

At the ceremony, representatives of Agribank- Binh Duong branch presented 2,500 seedlings to the District People's Committees to plant in communes; presented 250 seedlings to Dinh Thanh Commune People's Committee to plant in the communal football field and other public places. On this occasion, leaders of Dau Tieng District, leaders of Agribank- Binh Duong branch and delegates planted 200 trees at Dinh Thanh Commune Football stadium to contribute to protecting the environment (photo).
