Delegation of Vietnam Farmers Association’s Central Committee works with provincial Farmers Association

Early March 22, a delegation of Vietnam Farmers Association’s Central Committee, led by Lai Xuan Mon, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Farmers Association, member of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies visited and worked with provincial Farmers Association. Attending the working session was Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Public Relations, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

At the working session, representative of provincial Farmers Association reported the result of activities of the association in 2016 and Q1, 2017. Mr.Mon acknowledged and spoke highly of achievements done by the association over the past time, contributing to the common development of Vietnam Farmers Association. He also asked for provincial Farmers Association to further uphold achievements done by it, ensuring 2017’s tasks to be fulfilled well.

Mr.Liem also affirmed that the province has always paid attention to fostering agriculture, farmers and rural areas. The activities of provincial Farmers Association significantly contributed to enhancing the effectiveness of agricultural production and promoting the local process of new rural construction over the past time. In the coming time, the province wants to further receive great interest from the Vietnam Farmers Association’s Central Committee.
