Department of Industry and Trade to strengthen market stabilization in period before, during and after Lunar New Year 2019

According to Department of Industry and Trade, over the period before, during and after Lunar New Year 2019, there are 12 enterprises engaging in stabilizing the market with a total goods value of VND1,232.5 billion. Accordingly, enterprises will participate in the stabilization of construction market, and register the price of each specific commodity group at a lower or equal price to market price of commodity with the same type, specification and quality at the registration time, and then sent to Department of Finance, Department of Industry and Commerce

In case market fluctuation in raw material price and input cost affects production cost, enterprises shall adjust and re-register their selling prices to stabilize the market, and send to Department of Finance, Department of Industry and Commerce. An enterprise can adjust their selling prices only when they are accepted by competent agencies and notify Department of Finance, Department of Industry and Commerce within 3 days after the adjustment.

In case the market has a virtual fluctuation, enterprises must comply with the supply of goods under the direction of Department of Industry and Trade.
