Di An reaches positive results in socio-economic development in Q1

On the afternoon of April 19, the Executive Board of Di An town’s Party Committee held its 10^th conference with focus to review the local socio-economic and political situation, national defence-security in Q1, 2017 and devise orientations, tasks for Q2, 2017, in attendance of Pham Van Canh, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council.

In Q1, 2017, the town’s industrial production value was estimated at VND20.15trillion while total retail sales of commodities and services reached more than VND12.43billion. The town also took good care of the lives of social policy beneficiaries during the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival; organized a variety of cultural and sports activities; well realized education and healthcare fields; maintained national defence-security and social safety-order…

Speaking at the conference, Mr.Canh spoke highly of the efforts by Di An town in site clearance and compensation over the past time while suggesting the town to continue well realizing this work together with contents on restoring urban order, making construction management and urban planning. For political education, the town needs to pay attention to ideological orientation in line with each period; seriously implement the Politburo’s Directive No.05-CT/TW and the Resolution of the 12^th Party Central Committee’s 4^th plenum; improve the effectiveness of Party inspection and supervision…

On this occasion, the Party cells of Di An town People’s Court and Binh Thang ward’s Party Committee Office were also awarded the emulation banners for “strong, pure Party organization” for five consecutive years from 2012 to 2016.
