Diplomacy information to be accurate, timely and flexible

Upholding the motto of accuracy, punctuation and suitability to subjects, practitioners of diplomacy information of the province have been regularly and continually commanded to ensure harmonious coordination of the political system from provincial to grassroots levels. Accordingly, the diplomacy information has been in comprehensive and synchronous flow for great results.

In 2017, the Steering Board of diplomacy information of the province has been continually improved in terms of operations. The attending forces have been improved for effective and coordinated supply of diplomacy information under written direction of the provincial and central authorities regarding the information combining with activities of celebrating major anniversaries, meetings, exchanges, political events. On weekly basis, by propaganda orientation, Provincial Information Dissemination and Education of Provincial Party Committee directed the mass media to improve information quality to propagate and introduce images of Vietnam and Binh Duong in accurate, timely and suitable manner.

The prominent activities of diplomacy information in 2017 are the honor to receive the senior delegation of Kingdom of Cambodia visiting Vietnam on the occasion of marking the 40^th anniversary of Prime Minister Hun Sen’s pathway of nation salvation, the senior delegation of People’s Democratic Republic of Laos on their working visit in the province, and the reception of central government’s delegations from provinces, cities, embassy, and consulates general on the 20^th anniversary of Binh
Duong construction and development along with the second Tai Tu Music Festival 2017. In the year, the province also welcomed 102 foreign delegations with 2,000 visitors to visit, work and learn about the socio-economic situation and investment environment and to the economic and cultural facilities of the province. Through the meetings and working sessions, provincial leaders announced the socio-economic development, policies, solutions and determination of provincial leaders in building an increasingly great investment environment. The project has attracted the attention of international delegations, contributing to improving the effectiveness of image promotion to become a dynamic, creative, reliable destination of investors. At the same time, all levels and sectors continue to pay attention to intensifying survey, marketing, visit, study experience and investment promotion abroad; cultural exchanges, arts, sports and tourism continue to be interested and promoted effectively.

Le Huu Phuoc, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Information Dissemination and Education, Head of the Provincial External Information Steering Committee, said that in 2017, the external information work of the province continued to be deployed synchronously and effectively. Organizing, directing and coordinating information from province to grassroots has been further strengthened and improved. Agencies and units in the province have closely followed the assigned tasks, uniformly and efficiently propagandize, contributing to raising awareness of the importance of external information work in the contingent staff, ministries and strata of the people. However, external information work still has many limitations, such as the mechanism of coordination and information supply of departments, branches, localities at some places are not synchronized; content and forms of propaganda have not been rich and have not been persuasive.

Therefore, in the coming time, the Steering Committee for External Information will strengthen the work of leading, guiding and improving the efficiency of state management in external information work in the spirit of Conclusion 16- KL / TW on the "Strategy for External Information Development for 2011-2020"; promoting the image of the country, people and culture of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular. Promoting the renewal, diversifying contents, methods and forms of propaganda followed the reality and suitable for all subjects; diversifying television programs, press publications, publishing in foreign languages in exchange of information on Binh Duong, Vietnam and Vietnamese culture to the world.
