District/town/city-level libraries actively improve forms serving readers

In 2017, district/town/city-level libraries were very active in propaganda work and made efforts to innovate forms serving readers.

They carried out 90 propaganda shows, exhibited 27,052 books and newspapers; rotated 1.7 million books, newspapers and magazines to serve more than 560,000 readers, granted 2,465 cards to readers…They also organized many activities, namely a competition on piggybank decoration, a week on reading culture, talk shows…in celebration of the Vietnam Book Day (April 21) and in response to the World Book and Copyright Day  (April 23), absorbing thousands of readers.

Such these apart, they actively took part in competitions organized by the province.
