Diverse activities mark War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day

Ben Cat town is expected to organize many art performances to mark the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).

Accordingly, the town will hold an art performance at the 30/4 Square on the evening of July 24. Other art performance will be also organized at a get-together at the town’s Exhibition-Convention Center on the morning of July 26 to mark the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day. On the evening of the same day, a ceremony lighting candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs will be held at the town’s Martyrs’ Cemetery.

On this occasion, the town has launched a campaign raising money for the local Gratitude Fund, beginning from May to December 31, 2017.

*The Youth Union of provincial Job Placement Center in collaboration with the Youth Union of Thuan An ward in Thuan An town has just held a delegation to visit and present gifts worth VND200,000 each, comprising of sugar, cooking oil, fish sauce and confectionary, to 5 policy beneficiary families.

In the visiting place, the local Youth Union members also expressed his deep gratitude to policy beneficiary families.  The significant activity aimed to show the moral principle of “When drinking water, remember its source” on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.
