Update: 17-07-2021 | 10:49:47

Provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) has just organized delegations to assess the task of ensuring safety in Covid-19 prevention-control in industrial parks, compounds and production facilities in the province, aiming to proactively deploy solutions to stabilize production amid the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic.

Close to real situation

Provincial DoIT’s delegation  has  coordinated with sectors and localities to inspect the strict implementation of the "5K" message: Khau trang (facemask)- (Khu khuan) disinfection- (Khoang cach) distance- (Khong tu tap) no gathering – (Khai bao y te) health declaration, the 3 on-site rule of  the Ministry of Health and proactively prepare plans to cope with the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic. Priority is given to anti-pandemic task, maintaining industrial production activities at the highest level, without disrupting large-scale production and supply chains.

Leader of provincial DoIT check the 3 on-site model of an enterprise in the province

In order to prevent the spread of the pandemic, ensuring  safety for workers, the community and stabilizing production and business, companies and factories in the province have implemented many solutions against the pandemic in accordance with central and local regulations. In the industrial compounds of Phu Dinh in Dau Tieng district, Uyen Hung, Beautiful City, Phu Chanh in Tan Uyen town, many enterprises with a large number of workers have placed Covid-19 prevention and control on top. All factories have arranged staffs to check workers ‘body temperature, provided workers with hand sanitizer and masks in accordance with regulations while calling for workers to  well obey the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health.

According to Nguyen Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of provincial DoIT, the result of the inspection showed that enterprises, especially large-scale ones have had great efforts when being proactive to effectively implement  measures against the pandemic. They have excelled at updating information on assessing the risk of Covid-19 infection on the Covid-19 safety map. Many “3 on-site” models are suitable to reality with creation that need to be replicated.

Provincial DoIT has provided detailed and specific instructions for enterprises with many shortcomings in Covid-19 prevention and control. In addition, provincial DoIT has resolutely proposed to suspend operations of enterprises and production facilities that do not well implement measures against the pandemic with the assessment of the risk of infection under regulations; or those performing preventive measures, but assessed at an unsafe level, without updating information on the assessment of the risk of pandemic transmission after being granted accounts on the system of  "Covid-19 safety map".

Fighting Covid-19 is main task

Nguyen Hung, an officer of the Phu Chanh Industrial Compound’s Management Board said that the Management Board has closely coordinated with localities, departments and sectors, and requested enterprises to strictly implement urgent measures to minimize Covid-19 infection from outside. At enterprises with Covid-19 cases, they are now making efforts to strictly follow guidance processes against the pandemic while maintaining production and business activities, contributing to carrying out the local targets on  economic development. Especially, many 3 on-site models are well done.

Kolon Vietnam Factory in the Uyen Hung Industrial Complex now has more than 800 workers. At this time, the factory's top task is to implement measures on Covid-19 prevention and control among all workers. Leaders of the factory have disseminated the instructions of the province and the health sector on Covid-19 prevention and control to production groups; set up a plan against the pandemic, ensuring the implementation of the "dual goals”.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Head of Ens Foam Company’s Personnel  Department in the Beautiful City industrial compound said that the company has checked workers’ body temperature at the beginning of each working session; required workers to strictly follow the "5k" message of the Ministry of Health. The company has also asked for workers residing in pandemic-hit localities to stay at the factory, ensuring safety for their families and the community. All workers have strictly complied with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control, joining hands with the community to prevent the pandemic and create favorable conditions for production and business activities.

According to provincial People's Committee, enterprises must set up plans on production, ensuring Covid-19 prevention and control in the next 5 days. If being able to ensure the "3 on-site” rule, including on-site production, dining and rest, they will be allowed to operate.
