Essential home items donated to policy beneficiary families
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 17, 2017), TDM city’s People’s Committee yesterday held a ceremony to donate a gratitude house to Nguyen Van Dan (or called Nguyen Ngoc Chuan), a war invalid, born in 1966, residing in Phu Hoa ward’s quarter 3.
The 91-sq.m house has a total construction cost of VND80million, including VND40million from the city’s State budget and VND40million from Binh Duong Urban Works One-Member Co.Ltd.
On this occasion, the city’s People’s Committee also offered some essential home items like tables, chairs, TVs, beds…to 12 policy beneficiaries, comprising heroic Vietnamese mothers, martyrs’ wives, war invalids…with a total expense of approximately VND89million.
