For beloved juniors

Provincial Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization have continued expressing their role in taking care of pupils, children via new movements when the new academic year begins. These movements will create a pervasion in the society, meeting the real requirements of pupils at schools.

Giving strength to school

Provincial Youth Unions and Young Pioneer Organizations at all levels offered timely support to pupils right from the time of preparation for the beginning of the new school year. Particularly, provincial Young Pioneer Organization donated 500 notebooks to needy pupils via the Youth Union of Lac An commune and offered 20 “giving strength to school” gifts to poor children in Hieu Liem commune in North Tan Uyen district with a total value of VND15million.

Whilst, Ben Cat town’s Young Pioneer Organization coordinated with the Youth Union branch of the town’s Mass Mobilization bloc to give gifts worth VND6million for 20 pupils with difficult circumstances at My Thanh secondary school. The Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization of An Son commune in Thuan An city also visited and donated a saving book worth VND2million to an unprivileged child on the occasion of the new academic year.

In the 2020-2021 new academic year, provincial Young Pioneer Organization has continued disseminating the directive of the Youth Union Central Committee and the plan of provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the campaign of “For beloved juniors” between 2019-2022 with focus on effectively realizing youth works, volunteer activities in association with offering help to the offspring of young workers and laborers with difficult circumstances…

As planned, provincial Young Pioneer Organization will donate 10 recreational areas and 10 “red scarf” houses to needy children; award 1,000 “Making dreams come true” scholarships worth VND1billion to poor-but-excellent pupils…

Education of life skills

Tran Bao Lam, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that provincial Young Pioneer Organization will further organize a series of communication and consultancy activities on skills against injuries and accidents in children at province-based primary and secondary schools in the 2020-2021 academic year. Provincial Young Pioneer Organization will also compose and issue 3,000 books on “Skills to prevent injuries, accidents, drowning in children”.

Accordingly, Thuan An city’s Young Pioneer Organization has also implemented a series of propaganda programs on prevention of injuries, accidents and drowning in children. The Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization of An Phu ward have also just held a propaganda program on prevention of injuries, accidents and drowning for more than 1,100 pupils. In the 2020-2021 academic year, the city’s Youth Union and Young Pioneer Organization will further instruct 100% of their branches to disseminate prevention of injuries, accidents and sexual abuse in children across the city.

District-level Young Pioneer Organizations will also organize free classes on swimming, prevention of drowning for children with difficult circumstances; strengthen models on training social practice skills and effective ones, namely “Army semester”, “Experiencing in scientific creation”…; educate children and teenagers about awareness in obeying the law, preventing social evils…
