Further upholding youths’ voluntary spirit during Youth Month 2017

With the theme of “Binh Duong’s youths improve the quality of Youth Union members, join hands in new rural and civilized urban areas”, provincial Youth Month 2017 will continue having a lot of activities expressing the voluntary spirit of Youth Union members, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

As planned, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will motivate the Youth Month 2017 from February 25 to March 7 with many significant activities, including organizing forums “the Party with youths, youths with the Party”, dialogues between the local leaders and youths, “Green Sunday”, “Voluntary Saturday” campaigns…They will also maintain and develop civilized roads, alleys and canals; strive to recommend outstanding Youth Union members to the Party Community of Vietnam, organize exam season and vocational consultancy, build houses of compassion…

The local Youth Union branches actively getting involved in building new-style rural areas

The Youth Month 2017 will focus on realizing propaganda and education of the glorious tradition of Youth Union, Youth Union congresses at all levels; taking care of teenagers, children and ensuring social welfare; work out youth works to welcome Youth Union congresses…Particularly, the Youth Union branches of TDM city, provincial Military Command, Police Agency and Agencies Bloc will mobilize all resources to work out a work “Green pavement, nice street corner”, collect water hyacinth, propagandize food safety and hygiene, realize 5 youth flower gardens…

Also during the month, provincial Youth Union will organize a forum to make dissemination of information about ASEAN and thoroughly grasp the Politburo’s Directive No.05-CT/TW on “Acceleration of studying and following late President’s ideology, morals and lifestyle” and the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee’s Directive No.42-CT/TW on “Strengthening the Party’s leadership on education of revolutionary ideology, morals and cultural lifestyle for youths in the period of 2015-2030”.

Many other practical activities, comprising of provincial-level “Green Sunday” campaign, a vocational consultancy program for pupils under the theme of “Making dreams come true” at 41 high schools and continuing education centers, a festival for high school pupils with the theme of “18-year old youths welcoming Youth Union congresses at all levels”…will be also organized during the month.

Moreover, enhancing the quality of Youth Union members is part of activities during the Youth Month 2017. Accordingly, there will be a festival honoring outstanding Youth Union secretaries, a festival for Youth Union members under the theme of “Being proud of Youth Union members”, a ceremony of awarding prizes to young talents, giving support packages to poor alien young workers, a festival for young workers following Uncle Ho’s teachings, a get-together for Youth Union cadres over periods…
