Get-together marking 69th anniversary of traditional day of Vietnamese students held

On the evening of January 8, provincial Students Association’s Secretariat held a get-together to mark the 69^th anniversary of Traditional Day of Vietnamese students and Vietnamese Students Association (January 1, 1950-January 1, 2019); launched the 2018 “Spring Volunteer” campaign.

The get-together reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese students; honored 64 students with the “Student with five good performances” title, 39 high-school pupils with the “Pupil with three good performances” title and 12 pupils of junior colleges with the “Pupil with three training things“ title. Especially, there were 3 students winning the “January star” title and 2 pupils of junior colleges with the central-level “Pupil with three training things” title.

In addition, the organizers set up a mobilization committee for establishment of students’ association branches at schools; paid tribute to leaders of provincial Students’ Association over periods…Many special art items themed “Wings of white pigeons” were also held at the get-together…

On this occasion, provincial Students Association’s Secretariat also launched the 2018 “Spring Volunteer” campaign with such practical activities as cleaning up schools, organizing a “Tet meal” program for alien students and needy families; holding recreational activities for disadvantaged children…

The above-mentioned activities aim to set achievements in celebration of the success of the 10^th Vietnam Students Association congress for the 2018-2023 tenure and the 22^nd anniversary of Binh Duong’s development and construction.
