Get-together marks 43rd anniversary of Dau Tieng liberation day

Early March 13, Dau Tieng district held a get-together to mark the 43^rd anniversary of Dau Tieng liberation day (March 13, 1975-March 13, 2018). Attending the event were Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; heroic Vietnamese mothers, revolutionary veterans and leaders of the district over periods.

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of Dau Tieng’s soldiers and people during the national resistance wars. Noticeably, Dau Tieng was liberated on March 13, 1975, contributing to the victory of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign to accomplish the liberation of the South and reunification of the North - South of Viet Nam.

Upholding the tradition of a heroic locality, after 43 years of construction and development, Dau Tieng has become one of the province’s localities with flexible development. The district has always reached stability in socio-economic development with people’s lives improved constantly, step by step building a civilized, prosperous and beautiful locality.

Speaking at the get-together, Mr.Tu suggested sectors and authorities at all levels of the province to continue taking solutions in order to help the district remove obstacles. Sectors and authorities at all levels of the district also need to focus on directing socio-economic development, ensuring the victoriously implementation of targets, tasks for 2018, successfully realizing the Resolution of the local Party congress, contributing to effectively implementing the Resolution of the 10^th provincial Party congress.
