Get-together marks the CPV’s 90th anniversary

Early February 5, Ben Cat town’s Party Committee held a get-together to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3, 1930-February 3, 2020) and review its Party building work in 2019, in attendance of former State President Nguyen Minh Triet.

At the event, delegates reviewed the glorious history of the CPV during the past 90 years. Together with the entire country, the town’s Party, goverment and people followed the Party wholeheartedly, contributing to the cause of national defence and construction.

Further upholding achievements done over the past years, the town last year reached the economic growth of 23.5%. The town’s targets on investment attraction, export value, State budget collection, average income per capita exceeded the set plan. Also in 2019, the town was recognized as a third-class city and reached the recognition of fulfilling the new-style rural construction program.

The town’s Party Committee also excelled at carrying out Party building, studying, following late President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality-lifestyle and streamlining the apparatus of the political system in an effective and efficient manner. In 2019, the town’s Party Committee basically fulfilled and surpassed major targets of the Resolution of the town’s Party congress for the 2015-2020 tenure.

On this occassion, the town’s Party Committee posthumously bestowed the “heroic Vietnamese mother” title to 16 cases; handed over decisions on high-ranking commendation for 5 cases; awarded the certificates of merit to outstanding Party organizations in 2019...
