Every month, the young man supplies the market with more than 30 tons of clean meat through his 7 food stores with the annual revenue of nearly VND3billion…He is Nguyen Van Son, the owner of Nam An farm in Minh Tan commune’s Tan Dinh hamlet in Dau Tieng district.

Although graduating from university with business administration major, Son returned home with startup determination from clean agricultural production. He decided to open a chicken farm of 8,000 square meters on his family’s land.

After two years of implementing the model, he failed because of lacking experience, epidemic diseases on poultry, price fluctuation…But being not discouraged, he learnt and took part in trade fairs to seek new ways for his production and business. And he realized that supplying customers with clean food was a potential market. That’s also reason why he bravely changed to developing a clean pig farm under the support of his relatives and friends. He also spent his land for growing safe vegetables…

His meat products and clean vegetables were welcomed at HCM city-based stores and supermarkets after more than one year of realizing the new model. And them, he decided to coordinate with his friends to open a food shop chain named Nam An Organic Food in HCM city.

Currently, he owns a farm of 7,000 square meters and an area of more than 40,000 square meters for growing vegetables and fruit trees, generating jobs for 5 technicians and more than 20 local laborers with the average salary of more than VND6million per person per month. As planned, he will form up a clean food production system with products like lean pork paste, sausage, canned food…

With his knowledge and enthusiasm, Nguyen Van Son has made his dream getting rich on homeland come true, contributing to the local development and becoming a bright example for young people to follow.
