Gifts given for poor ethnic minority people in Gia Lai

On March 20 and 22, Binh Duong provincial Red Cross Society in collaboration with members of its Volunteers’ Club held a delegation to visit and present gifts to poor ethnic minority people in Dak Doa district’s Hnol commune in the central Highlands province of Gia Lai (photo).

In the visiting place, representative of the delegation extended best regards to poor ethnic minority people and gave them 220 gifts worth VND700,000 each, including rice, instant noodle, sugar, salt, soya sauce, fish sauce, soap, seasoning powder, clothes, confectionary and VND150,000 in cash. These gifts valued at VND154million were funded by Buddhist followers of Chau Thoi pagoda in Di An town and donors from An Lac market in HCM city’s Binh Tan district.
