“Green Sunday” programs launched

In response to the program, the city’s Youth Union branches also made environmental hygiene, eradicated illegal ads and planted green trees, bringing a green, clean and beautiful scenery to residential areas.

*The same day, Nguyen Minh Tam, Secretary of TDM city’s Youth Union said that under the “Green Sunday” program, the city’s Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Unions of Binh Duong University and Ngo Quyen University to build 170 parterres, paint 40 power poles along Nguyen Chi Thanh street through Hiep An and Tan An wards. The city’s Youth Union branches also launched the “Green Sunday” program with many significant works.

*Early July 26, North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union coordinated with the district’s Division of Natural Resources and Environment to organize a ceremony to launch the 3^rd “Green Sunday” program and respond to the national week on clean water and environmental hygiene.

The event took place animatedly with an activity exchanging waste for gifts under the theme of “For a North Tan Uyen without plastic waste”. On this occasion, the district’s Youth Union donated a “green quarter” work worth VND5million to 6 quarters in Tan Thanh township. Accordingly, each quarter was given 10 bags of green trees. The district’s Youth Union also carried out a work painting power poles in Tan Thanh township and got involved in cleaning up streets in the township…

*Phu Giao district, on July 26, launched the “Green Sunday” program, responded to the “Making the World Cleaner” campaign and the national week on clean water and environmental hygiene.

Accordingly, the local Youth Union members actively got involved in cleaning up streets, monuments; delivering more than 5,000 propaganda leaflets on clean water and environmental hygiene to locals…
