Headquarters of Binh Duong’s KOCHAM inaugurated

An inauguration ceremony of the headquarters of province-based Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kocham) was held on March 17. Attending the event were Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Mai Hung Dung, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of sectors, departments in the province; Park Noh Wan, South Korean Consulate General in HCM city together with South Korean Business Association and businesses operating in Vietnam…

Covering an area of 1,500 meters square, the building has a total investment of around US$ 2.5 million. When being operational, it not only provides office space for businesses from South Korea operating in Binh Duong but also a venue for cultural activities of South Korean nationals working and residing in the locality.

Mr.Park Noh Wan said that Vietnam and South Korea made efforts for mutual development over the pas time. The operation of Binh Duong’s Kocham headquarters is the liveliest demonstration for friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Mr.Dung said that this is an important event for Kocham’s Binh Duong branch and South Korean businesses operating in the province. It is also a fine symbol for the relationship between South Korean businesses, Binh Duong’s Party, government and people. From this, South Korean businesses in the province will enjoy more conditions to operate, contributing to the local common development.

Provincial People’s Committee also awarded a laudatory writing, a certificate of merit and a memento to representative of Kocham’s Binh Duong branch.
