Inflaming the spirit of charity

Early January 16, at Provincial Children House, Provincial Standing Committee of Provincial Youth’s League coordinated with Association of Agent Orange Victims of Binh Duong Province organized an event of “Ngon lua khong bao gio tat” (the everlasting flame) with attendance of Pham Truong, Head of Foreign Relation of the Association, Nguyen Huu Loc, Head of Mass Mobilization of Provincial Party Committee and leaders of departments, agencies, and unions in the province, and representatives of grassroots in districts, towns, and Thu Dau Mot City along with majority of youths and members.

At the event, the delegates and the members watched documentary of Tran To Nga and talked with Tran To Nga, the former reporter of liberation agency (now Vietnam News Agency) and the petitioner against 26 chemical US corporates supplying chemical toxins in Vietnam war and Pham Ngoc Thai, Chairman of Agent Orange Association of Binh Duong Province. The book of “Duong Tran – Ngon lua khong bao gio tat” (the walk of life – the everlasting flame) of author Tran To Nga was also introduced.

Also at the event, the Standing Committee of Provincial Youth’s League initiated donations and signatures supporting Tran To Nga in her petition. The league and the association have called upon donate to present 60 gifts to the victims residing in Binh Duong.
