*Leaders of TDM city visit, congratulate pagodas on Lady Thien Hau Temple festival

Early February 9, a delegation of provincial People’s Council, led by Trinh Duc Tai, Head of the Committee for Social-Cultural Affairs under provincial People’s Council visited, congratulated Buddhist facilities, the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha and the Chinese community on the occasion of the Lady Thien Hau Temple festival 2017. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh also accompanied the delegation.

Accordingly, the delegation visited Lady Thien Hau Bung Cau temple in Hiep An ward, Lady Thien Hau Binh Duong temple in Phu Cuong ward, Hoi Khanh pagoda in Phu Cuong ward in TDM city. At each visiting place, representative of the delegation informed the Executive Boards of Buddhist facilities of the local socio-economic performance last year while praising the local Buddhist facilities and Chinese community for their contributions to social charity activities. On this occasion, the delegation also extended best regards to members of the Executive Boards of the above Buddhist facilities and learnt about preparatory work for the Lady Thien Hau Temple festival 2017.

*The same day, Vo Van Minh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of TDM city’s Party Committee led a delegation to visit and congratulate the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha, Hoi An pagoda in Binh Duong New City, Lady Thien Hau Bung Cau temple in Hiep An ward, the city’s Chinese Society for Mutual Aid, Lady Thien Hau temple in Hoa Phu ward, Linh Khong Dan pagoda, Thanh An pagoda in Phu Cuong ward on the occasion of the Lady Thien Hau Temple festival 2017.

At the visiting places, the delegation extended best regards and presented flowers to Buddhist dignitaries while wanting that Buddhist nuns, monks, followers and Chinese community in the city to further uphold the fine traditions of the nation, strengthen the national great unity bloc and have good coordination in organizing activities so that this year’s Lady Thien Hau Temple festival will take place safely, joyfully and healthily; actively get involved in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to building up a more civilized and modern TDM.
