Local collective economy reaches over VND1.67trillion in revenue

Early January 9, provincial Alliance of Cooperatives forwarded a conference to sum up its activities in 2019, extend orientations and tasks for 2020, in attendance of Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

The province is now home to 130 cooperative groups with 1,258 members and investment capital of more than VND40billion; 178 cooperatives with 30,285 members and charter capital of nearly VND800billion. In 2019, the province set up additional 27 cooperatives or 168.7% of the year’s plan. Province-based cooperatives and credit funds reached more than VND1.67trillion in revenue; generated jobs for nearly 15,000 laborers…

Addressing the conference, Mr.Dung suggested provincial Alliance of Cooperatives to boost cooperation with sectors, departments and mass organizations at all levels in order to effectively carry out the local plan on collective economic development.
