Local healthcare sector focuses on improving quality of public healthcare

The province’s healthcare sector over the past time attached special importance to carrying out transfer of sci-tech advancements from leading hospitals.

In 2016 alone, the whole sector realized 10 packages on sci-tech transfer from hospitals, namely HCM city Medicine-Pharmacy’s Hospital, HCM city Ear-Nose-Throat Hospital, HCM city Children’s Hospital, Tu Du Hospital, the National Hospital of Traditional Medicine... The sector also extended steps of a scheme on satellite hospitals for the 2016-2020 period.

Moreover, the sector bent on improving medical staff’s qualification to better serve patients. Provincial General Hospital opened classes on basic emergency skills for some diseases for physicians who have worked under two years; gave professional training for public and private healthcare facilities…
