Local mass mobilization fulfills the set plan

Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) made the statement at provincial FFC’s conference reviewing activities in the first half of 2020, defining tasks for the rest of the year held on the morning of July 28. The event was attended by Le Kim Phuong, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization.

Thanks to the efforts by the entire political system and people in the province, there were no Covid-19 cases reported in the province over the past six months. The province’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) surged by 6.73% compared to the same period last year. The province’s State budget collection was VND29.8trillion or 48% of the year’s estimates. The province’s FDI attraction was US$693million...In addition, the province well realized social welfare policies, took good care of policy beneficiaries, poor people and laborers with the support of VND53.5billion; extracted VND3.2billion for construction of gratitude, “great unity” houses...Mass organizations and religious organizations in the province realized good models in supporting people facing difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic, with a total value of billions of dong. In response to the appeal by provincial FFC, the whole province supported VND260billion for Covid-19 prevention and control.

For tasks in the remaining 6 months of the year, delegates contributed ideas to improving the operational contents and forms of provincial FFC and socio-political organizations. The province’s mass mobilization from now to year-end will focus on duet tasks: Covid-19 prevention and socio-economic development... On this occassion, provincial Party Standing Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 17 collectives, 13 individuals having excellent achievements, winning prizes of the provincial clever mass mobilization competition 2019.
