Local total retail sales surge 25.7%

Province-based enterprises in January, 2017 basically ensured amble supply of goods. They also launched a variety of promotional programs, contributing to stimulating demand, increasing the local retail sales of commodities and services.

Particularly, the province’s total retail sales of commodities and services were estimated at more than VND14.5trillion, up 12.8% and 25.7% compared to the previous month and last year’s corresponding period.

Of that amount, the domestic investment sector reached more than VND14billion, up 13.1% and 25.8% against the previous month and last year’s corresponding period while the foreign investment sector achieved VND473.4billion, up 5.2% and 21.6% over the previous month and last year’s same period.
