Actively giving information on tourism

Nguyen Duc Minh, Director of provincial Tourism Promotion Center said that giving information on tourism is one of major contents in the operational process of the center. Over the past time, the center actively provided locals with tourism information through the local activities on culture and tourism. The center also issued some tourism printed matters for locals and tourists; coordinated with fine art and handicraft facilities, traditional craft villages to popularize the local tourism via events; provided tourists and overseas Vietnamese with thousands of printed matters on the local tourism…

The 3^rd Binh Duong Food Festival 2020 absorbs numerous visitors

The center also designed some columns like “Enjoying the spring 2020”; organized  contests on Binh Duong tourism introduction, Binh Duong tourism logo, slogan design on its website…In addition, the center worked with Tiamo Phu Thinh about the installation of Binh Duong’s tourism map, typical tourism images at Tiamo Phu Thinh Wharf, promoting the local waterway tourism; surveyed some tourism sites in Phu Giao district to serve HCM city-Binh Duong-Binh Phuoc tours; supported Dai Nam Company to survey several tourist sites in Ben Cat town and Dau Tieng district in order to design tours to Binh Duong.

Attaching special importance to tourism promotion

In 2020, provincial Tourism Promotion Center also excelled at making tourism linkage with other localities. The cooperation between cities and provinces in the Southeast region was one of noticeable events, marking the development of the local tourism. Provincial Tourism Association also resumed operation and received enthusiastic participation from travel units, tourism sites, hotels, restaurants and traditional craft villages, thereby contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development. In a bid to promote the local tourism, provincial Tourism Promotion Center advised provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DoCST) on organizing the 3^rd Binh Duong Food Festival 2020. The center also took part in conferences on the linkage for the regional tourism development, tourism festivals organized by other localities, aiming to popularize the local tourism.

Mr.Duc said that with the attention and instruction of provincial DoCST and the efforts by the center’s staff, the center well realized the local tourism popularization. The effective use and exploitation of the center’s website: www.dulichbinhduong.org.vn and information channels provided tourists with the local tourism information quickly and conveniently while creating coherence and sharing information with tourism promotion center throughout the country.

Also according to him, the center will further improve the local tourism popularization forms while composing and issuing the local printed matters on tourism in 2021. Along with tourism information, the center will also focus on implementing the local plans on tourism promotion in 2021.
