In the first half of 2019, province-based Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIPs) absorbed more than US$277.9million in FDI capital, up 2.35% compared to the same period or 65.13% of the year’s plan.
Particularly, they lured 10 newly-registered FDI projects with more than US$90.7million; 24 ones increasing capital with more than VND137.1million together with other 102 adjusted cases. Thus, they have so far had a total of valid 549 FDI projects with total registered capital of US$8.36billion.
Also during the period, they lured additional 4 domestic projects with total registered capital of VND1.06trillion. As of now, they have absorbed 42 domestic projects with total registered capital of more than VND9.84trillion.
