Many activities to promote health insurance in the whole population 2016-2020

PPC has issued directives to promote health insurance in the whole population from 2016 to 2020.

As of the end of 2015, the proportion of insured people in the province reached 78%; proportion of insured students in academic year 2015-2016 reached 81%. The insured are mainly households, pupils and students, employees and employers in small and medium enterprises.

Implementing Provincial Party Committee’s directives on strengthening the Party's leadership in health insurance works in the province and increasing the percentage of insured students in 2016-2017 school year by 100%, PPC asked all agencies, sectors and local people's committees to actively encourage people to join health insurance; strengthen Health Insurance Steering Committees of districts, towns and city and complete health insurance coverage targets, strive to reach 78.6% provincial population to join health insurance by the end of 2016, 90% provincial population or more to have health insurance card by 2020, 100% students of 2016-2017 school year to join health insurance...
