Many gifts are given to Khmer people in difficulty

On April 9, Standing Committee of Friendship Organizations' Union in cooperation with Phu Giao district, Binh Duong Businesswomen Association, and Provincial Buddhist Sangha gave 100 gifts to Khmer ethnic households (Vietnamese of Cambodian origin) facing difficulties in the area of Phu Giao district, on occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay traditional New Year 2021. Each gift set included rice, instant noodles, necessities and cash. The total value of gifts was 100 million VND.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Nguu Bu, representative of Khmer people in An Binh commune (Phu Giao district), expressed his gratitude to all levels and branches for caring and sharing difficulties with Khmer people. He said that the ethnic Khmer always well implement policies of the Party and laws of the State; unite, help each other overcome all difficulties, preserve the national cultural identity, contribute to building and developing the homeland.
