Mass organizations at schools get animated with activities marking Vietnam Teachers’ Day

Implementing teenagers and children’s movements at schools for the 2017-2018 academic year, provincial Youth Union has planned to organize activities in celebration of Vietnam Teachers’ Day with the goal of raising high the “venerating teachers and respecting righteousness” spirit of the local teenagers and children, especially pupils, students, Youth Union members and young teachers.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that activities in celebration of Vietnam Teachers’ Day organized widely among teenagers and children will contribute to educating pride and passion for teaching among young teachers; honor outstanding teachers and create a motivation for them to further make contributions to the society in teaching task. These activities also aim to celebrate the 11^th National Youth Union congress for the 2017-2022 tenure.

Accordingly, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will organize cultural-sports activities in celebration of Vietnam Teachers’ Day, forums sharing effective learning methods and exchanging with teachers. For teachers’ Youth Union branches, provincial Youth Union will also instruct them to organize activities disseminating occupational morality among young teachers as well as improving their awareness; simultaneously launch movements on “actively enhancing professional skills”, “improving teaching methods”, “applying information technology into lessons”…

The Youth Union branches of districts, towns, TDM city, Agencies Bloc, schools and provincial Cultural House for Children will engage activities in disseminating the tradition of “venerating teachers and respecting righteousness”; honor outstanding young teachers, visit and pay tribute to meritorious teachers and those who have made contributions to teenagers and children’s movements…

Provincial Youth Union has also assigned units to carry out provincial-level pilot of the above contents. Particularly, provincial Cultural House for Children will work with TDM city’s Youth Union to organize contests on flower arrangement and drawing. Thu Dau Mot University will kick off a talk show on “Improving occupational passion among pedagogic students”…

According to Mrs. Xuan, provincial Youth Union will also organize a writing contest on “Net but tri an” (Handwriting of tribute) from October 12 to November 31…Moreover, provincial Youth Union will hold a series of “paying tribute to teachers”; visit, congratulate teachers together with several outstanding education facilities in the province and organize the 2^nd ceremony honoring outstanding teachers…
