Mazu Goddess Temple attracts pilgrims in lunar New Year

According to management board of Mazu Goddess Temple at Phu Cuong Ward in Thu Dau Mot City, tourists visiting Mazu Goddess Temple would be doubled from previous years. To satisfy the needs of pilgrimates during the event, the entrance to the temple has been cleared out with arranged stalls to prevent chaos like previous years. Especially, the park at the front of the temple is now spacious after being beautified.

Many visitors express their satisfaction as the incurrence of beggars and fake monks no longer exist. Besides, restrooms are organized within the temple to service the pilgrimates. Bui Thi Hue, a pilgrim from Go Vap of Ho Chi Minh City, said that she was impressed on visiting the temple this year.

“I am impressed as the front sideis more spacious, cleaner and beautiful,” said Hue.

However, by investigation of our reporter, the price hiking has been incurred regarding catering and parking services. For the next days as more and more people are getting to the temple, the functional agencies should immediately uncover and fine those sellers manipulating the prices to create beautiful image of Binh Duong to vistors far and wide.
