Ministry of Health holds online conference on information technology application against Covid-19

On 15 March, Ministry of Health held an online conference "Training on information technology application in the prevention and control of Covid-19". The conference was transmitted online to 700 locations in provinces, cities, districts, towns, communes, wards and towns throughout the country. At Binh Duong, Huynh Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Health, chaired the conference.

At the conference, leaders of Ministry of Health gave general information on the development of Covid-19 in the world and in Vietnam; analyzed the current epidemic situation and forecast changes in the next period. The conference introduced some information technology applications to support the prevention of Covid-19; gave instructions on how to use the universal voluntary health declaration application and online disease surveillance system.

This training was to help health officials update and effectively manage the universal health data, analyze and properly evaluate epidemiological information and symptoms of people involved in Covid-19; warn epidemic areas, promptly investigate, verify and quarantine when necessary, and conduct zoning for good disease control.
