Ministry of Home Affairs approves a scheme to establish wards in Tan Uyen Town

According to the head of provincial Department of Home Affairs, on 9 Dec, in Hanoi, Ministry of Home Affairs had a meeting to approve the proposal of establishment of wards: Vinh Tan, Phu Chanh, Tan Vinh Hiep and Hoi Nghia in Tan Uyen Town, Binh Duong Province. Leaders of provincial People's Committee and concerned departments and localities attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Ministry of Home Affairs assessed the establishment of the four above-mentioned wards as an objective need and in accordance with the general urban planning and socio-economic development planning approved by competent authorities in order to maximizing the potential and strength of Tan Uyen Town in particular, Binh Duong province in general. These 4 localities are all gateways of the town connecting with other districts, towns and city in the province, with fast pace of industrial development, trade - services and urbanization, urban infrastructure, and population sizes meeting ward establishment criteria. The communes met all standards of population size, natural area, structure and level of socio-economic growth, urban infrastructure system, eligible to become ward.
