More than 35% of children participate in the school milk program

According to the report of the Department of Health, there are 940 pre-school education institutions (preschools) in the province, including 122 public schools, 219 non-public schools and 516 groups of children and independent kindergarten classes. . According to a survey of the Department of Education and Training, the total number of children agreeing to participate in the school milk program is 43,353/123,092 (reaching 35.22% of the total number of children in the province). Children in the school milk program are children aged 36 months and older in preschool settings.

Up to now, the Provincial Reproductive Health Care Center has signed a framework agreement with Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company. However, up to now, no preschool education institution has signed a supply contract with the winning unit. The Department of Health requests the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue directing preschool education institutions to sign a school milk supply contract for the school year 2019-2020 according to the signed framework agreement and organize drinking milk according to regulations.
