Notice of opening water through the Dau Tieng reservoir spill on Saigon river phase 6 in 2020

On March 24, 2020, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue issued Document No. 124/TB-CCTL announcing the opening of water through the Dau Tieng reservoir overflow on Saigon River of phase 6, 2020. Accordingly, the time of overflowing is from 7 hours on 24-3-2020 (on the 1-3 lunar calendar) to 13 hours on 25-3-2020 (on the 2-3 lunar calendar). Flow rate overflow: Q = 100 m³/s. Spillway opening: a2 = a5 = 0.63m. Total discharge: W = 10.8 million m3.

With a discharge of Q = 100 m3 / s, it does not flood communes and wards along Saigon River. Permanent office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Rescue is notified to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue in Dau Tieng District, Ben Cat Town, Thuan An City, Thu Dau Mot City and the Center for Investment, Exploitation of irrigation and clean rural water for their acknowledgement.
