Offering help to the poor in Covid-19 fight

*Bau Bang district has mobilized Bau Bang Industrial Food Company to support 250 kg of rice and 1,000 boxes of instant noodles for the local lottery ticket vendors, helping them surmount difficulties when the Government suspended all lotteries for 15 days starting April 1 to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

*TDM city’s Youth Union and its branches have also just mobilized donors to offer gifts to lottery ticket vendors when the Government suspended all lotteries for 15 days starting April 1 to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

Particularly, the Youth Union of Phu Loi ward coordinated with An Thinh Phat Real Estate Company to offer 50 gifts worth VND250,000 each to lottery ticket vendors with difficult circumstances. The Youth Unions of Phu Tho, Phu My and Phu Hoa wards also gave 56 gifts, comprising of rice, instant noodle, masks…, for the local needy lottery ticket vendors.

The above activities aimed to join hands with the local administration in preventing Covid-19 pandemic.

*Early April 3, the Youth Union of Binh Duong Newspaper supported 50 gifts worth VND200,000 each, including rice, fish source, cooking oil, seasoning powder, for the local administration to prevent Covid-19 pandemic.

*Di An city’s Youth Union has just supported VND1.5million for 3 young workers with difficult circumstances in Di An and An Binh wards.

Accordingly, each needy worker was given VND500,000 from the city’s Youth Union. It is known that over the past time, the city’s Youth Union donated many gifts to needy young workers from the city’s support fund for poor teenagers and children.

*The People’s Committee of Vinh Phu ward in Thuan An city, on April 3, coordinated with the ward’s Fatherland Front Committee to offer gifts worth VND550,000 each, including necessities and VND1millon in cash, to 6 lottery ticket households with difficult circumstances.

These gifts were funded by two donors, contributing to supporting the local needy lottery ticket households when the Government suspended all lotteries starting April 1 to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

The Youth Union of Tan Dinh ward in Ben Cat town has just mobilized proprietors to decrease rent fees for workers facing difficulties during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, many proprietors exempted and reduced rent fees for lodgers in April. Among them, 8 decided to reduce by VND100,000-VND300,000 per room per month and 50% of rent fees for 250 rooms with workers.
