Opening of Horasis Asia 2019: The rise of Binh Duong contributes to the overall national prosperity

Morning 25 Nov, at Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, Horasis Asia 2019 in Binh Duong was officially opened with the theme: "The dynamic development of Vietnam". Attending the opening ceremony were Vương Đình Huệ, Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister; and representatives of central ministries and branches; Trần Văn Nam, Member of Provincial Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly delegation; Trần Thanh Liêm, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Frank-Jürgen Richter, Chairman of Horasis; and representatives of trade dgencies, business associations, domestic and foreign businessmen, and officials in Provincial Party Standing Committee, and some localities in the country.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized: The Horasis Asia 2019 in Binh Duong is not only a good opportunity for Binh Duong to introduce images of Binh Duogng in particular, of Vietnam in general to international friends, but also an opportunity for businesses learn and choose Binh Duong - an attractive and reliable investment destination, a worth-living and sustainably developing city. Horasis Asia 2019 is again a key event in the series of "Binh Duong Smart City 2019" and especially the announcement of the new World Trade Center in Binh Duong New City. Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue believed that these activities would continue to make new socio-economic breakthroughs in the coming time for the province.

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue recommended that Binh Duong paid attention to some issues such as improving and harmonizing business environment; building a high-quality workforce to promptly meet the requirements of the Industrial Revolution 4.0; Economic growth is associated with environmental protection: rapid and sustainable development is the top requirement for each of our decisions and actions. In parallel with the socio-economic development process, Binh Duong also needs to build a more modern and attractive living environment, while preserving and protecting natural resources and solving problems of environment, turning towards building and sustainable development for its smart city. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his belief and expectation that the rise of Binh Duong in the near future would contribute to the overall prosperity of the Southern key economic region and the whole country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Liêm, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed: The Horasis Asia 2019 held in Binh Duong is a special international event to people of the province, an important event to bring together international experts, administrators, investors, and senior executives in different areas in order to find radical solutions and appropriate development strategies for a peaceful, stable and prosperous future. Especially, through this meeting, Binh Duong province hopes to find important modern solutions to redistribute the province's development resources more efficiently, and would be applied appropriately in the coming time, contribute to developing an increasingly dynamic and being ready for international integration. effectively serving the process of industrialization, modernization and realizing the development goal of Binh Duong province to become a smart city, bringing a better life for the people.

With 4 plenary sessions and 35 parallel discussion sessions, Horasis Asia 2019 in Binh Duong was to bring provincial authorities, levels, sectors and the business community practical opportunities for exchanging and sharing multi-dimensional perspectives, practical experiences, new business perspectives and advanced growth models, consistent with the current trends, contributing to the effective resolution of arising problems and consequences during industrial development.
