Over VND200.8billion mobilized on new-style rural construction

After 6 years of realizing the new-style rural construction program, Phu Giao district’s An Binh commune has till now fulfilled 15 out of 19 criteria of the program and is striving to reach the remaining 4 criteria in order to become a new-style rural commune by the end of 2018.

The commune’s total capital mobilized for the program has so far reached more than VND200.8billion, including more than VND123.8billion from State budget, more than VND11.2billion from businesses, more than VND7billion from people…

The commune’s New Rural Management Board has also teamed up with functional agencies to organize 97 training courses, seminars on sci-tech transfer in cultivation and animal husbandry, how to use pesticide and fertilizer…for more than 6,440 local farmers. In addition, the commune opened 27 vocational training classes for 950 rural laborers and demobees, thereby helping more than 90% of laborers get stable jobs.
