Patriotism emulation promoted

With the tradition of the whole country, 42 years since its establishment, the Binh Duong Provincial Inspectorate has gradually built up and grown constantly, innovating and improving its methods of operation, advising the People's Committee, and performing well the function of State management on inspection work, settlement of complaints and denunciations and prevention of corruption.

In order to fulfill the tasks set out, from the beginning of 2017, the provincial inspectorate launched the emulation movement entitled "Unity, Discipline, Responsibility, and Effectiveness" to propagate and educate awareness of Party committees, leaders and all cadres, civil servants and laborers in the inspection sector about the glorious tradition of the industry; at the same time, to encourage the entire industry to unite, strive to overcome difficulties, and emulate to make excellent achievements to welcome the country's big holidays and traditional day of inspection.

In 2017, Binh Duong Provincial Inspectorate has carried out 55 administrative inspections at 158 ​​units and 694 inspections at 3,326 organizations and individuals. Through the inspection, 38/158 units and organizations and 13 individuals committed violations with the total amount of VND 49 billion 888 million; VND8 billion 812 million has been recovered and VND15 billion 750 million have been remitted to the State’s budget. Administrative sanctions have been administered on 470 organizations and 296 individuals with 623 administrative fines of VND 22 billion 716 million, remitting to the budget of VND 18 billion 148 million; confiscation of goods worth VND 581 million; disposal of goods worth VND 15 million. According to the Provincial Inspectorate, in the year the provincial inspectorate has completed 100% of the contents of the inspection as planned as well as unexpected inspections, creating a positive change, promptly mobilizing Encouraging cadres and civil servants to promote their spirit of initiative and actively overcome difficulties and strive to achieve the effective quality of political tasks of agencies as well as the inspection branch.

Concurrently with the competition for innovating working methods and improving the quality of the socio-economic inspection work, the provincial inspectorate also organized the competition to improve the quality of the work of the people reception, settlement of complaints and denounciation. From the beginning of the year, the provincial inspectorate regularly receives citizens at the unit and participates in regular meetings of provincial leaders with nearly 1,400 people. The majority of complaints, denunciations and recommendations of the people focus on land such as: land recovery, compensation, support and resettlement of the projects of socio-economic development; land disputes within the kinship, issuance and withdrawal of land use right certificates; decision of administrative punishment in land, construction and environment ... In 2017, 75,200 leaflets on legal documents on complaints and denunciations integrated with anti-corruption propaganda contents were printed out. This has created a positive change, contributing to limiting the complaints and denouncing crowds.

One of the key contents in the emulation work of the inspectorate sector in 2017 is to improve the quality of anti-corruption work. According to the Provincial Inspectorate, in 2017, the attention and direction of the leadership of the Party and government have facilitated the close coordination of the units in the province in the anti-corruption work over the past time to achieve many positive results. The propaganda and education on prevention and combating corruption associated with learning and following the ideals, ethics and style of President Ho Chi Minh have created a change in the awareness and actions of all cadres, Party members and people from all walks of life in the province.

Promoting the results achieved in the 2017’s emulation movement, in 2018, the provincial inspectorate will continue to strive to complete the approved work, focusing on effective implementation of the law provisions on bar investigation, the reception of citizens, the settlement of complaints and denunciations, the prevention of corruption and waste. In addition, the sector will organize emulation movements with practical content attached to professional tasks, mainly focusing on completing the quality and efficiency of political tasks of the sector, contributing practical to implement the objectives of socio-economic development, security and defense of the locality.
