Pedagogic students paid VND 3,63 million a month by the State

The government has just decreed regulations on policies to assist tuition and accommodation fees for pedagogic students. Accordingly, pedagogic students shall be offered the assistance at educational institutions that they are following. The State offers them each VND 3,63 million a month to cover daily fees during their training course at the institutions.

The time span of the assistance shall be in accordance with actual months but not more than 10 months an academic year that the students have been at the institutions. The payments is allocated by annual State’s budget estimation by current regulations.

The decree also regulates the return of the assisting fees in certain cases that graduates fail to service education sector for 2 years of graduation and/or change their training form or being disciplined or terminated. The decree of 4 chapters and 15 articles is enforced from November 15, 2020.
