Pervasion of “environmental protection” movement

Environmental protection is always an issue that needs to be implemented frequently to build up a green-clean-nice living environment and combat climate change. Over the past time, provincial Youth Unions at all levels put focus on the movement of environmental protection in association with the Project of “Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union takes part in protecting the environment, combating climate change” 2020. With concrete activities from provincial to grassroots levels, the local Youth Union members upheld their voluntary spirit in environmental protection…

With a desire of joining hands in creating a green-clean-nice living environment, provincial Youth Unions at all levels implemented many practical activities, creating a vigorous wave on environmental protection over the past time, contributing to improving the local living environment. Provincial Youth Unions at all levels launched many models, youth works on environmental protection among Youth Union members, expressing their determination in changing environmental hygiene from rural to urban areas.

Under the project, provincial Youth Union held a training course for Youth Union cadres and instructed its branches to disseminate the Party and State’s new policies on environmental protection as well as typical models in this field among Youth Union members. Provincial Youth Union also supported youth startup ideals, models in environmental protection.

In 2020, along with major programs like “Earth Hour”, “World Environment Day”, provincial Youth Union organized festivals on “preventing plastic waste, classifying waste at source”, “Youths for a green Binh Duong-recycling and reusing”. The local Youth Union branches also implemented many practical models on environmental protection, namely “Green lodging facility”, “Green quarter”, “Youth gardens”, “Green-clean-nice canal”…, thereby promoting Youth Union members in planting, protecting, tending green trees and building up a nice scenery in residential areas.

Tran Bao Lam, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that right from early year, provincial Youth Unions at all levels made efforts in implementing the movement of “youths taking part in environmental protection”. Along with strengthening propaganda, provincial Youth Union conducted its branches to make environmental hygiene in residential areas, public places and State agencies.

Possibly speaking, youth Union members across the province made effective contributions to the local environmental protection through practical models, works and deeds.
