Phat Hoc pagoda supports VND300million for Covid-19 prevention and people hit by saltwater intrusion

Thich nu An Lien, Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board cum Head of Phat Hoc pagoda, on April 3, donated VND200million to representative of provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) in order to support the local Covid-19 prevention and control.

Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial FFC said that the above contribution by the nun was very practical amid the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic, joining hands with the local administration in preventing the pandemic.

On this occasion, provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board also supported VND100million for the local administration to prevent Covid-19 and people hit by drought, saltwater intrusion in the Mekong Delta region.
