Phu Giao district’s new budget revenue reaches 58% target

People's Committee of Phu Giao district summed up public investment, budget management in the first 7 months and set forth key tasks in the last 5 months of 2018.

In the first seven months of 2018, Phu Giao district earned new budget revenue of VND156.5 billion, achieving 58% target. Budget spending was VND393.4 billion, reaching 40% estimate. Of which, capital construction expenditure was VND79.6 billion, reaching 52% of the plan. Regarding public investment, Provincial People's Committee approved Phu Giao district’s complement of 5 works for the period 2016-2020, including upgrading DH515, DH507, Cong Triet road, constructing Tran Hung Dao road and extending Tran Quang Dieu road; approved and selected contractors to start new 6/8 works including: Gia Bien bridge expansion, removing electricity meters to increase the number of households using electricity in Tan Hiep commune, upgrading 19/5 road, DH512, DH519 road and An Linh primary school.

In the last 5 months of 2018, Phu Giao district will continue to strengthen the management and utilizing of revenue sources; complete budget revenue target in 2018; accelerate the implementation of the remaining budgetary tasks in 2018 to ensure allocation plan; strengthen the collaboration between departments in investment field, especially projects with compensation for land acquisition; urge construction units to check and take over finished volumes of each phase and complete payment procedures for disbursement. People's committees of communes and townships should enhance responsibility for budget management and investment management according to decentralized authority; enhance the inspection and supervision of construction investment projects according to regulations. The purpose is to improve the efficiency of investment, fight against losses, wastes.
