Phu Giao district to host women's volleyball tournament

Phu Giao district Women's Union in collaboration with the district Center for Culture, Information and Sports hosted a volleyball tournament to celebrate the 89th anniversary of Vietnam Women's Union (20 Oct 1930 - 20 Oct 2019).

Participants of the tournament included 11 teams from Women's Unions of 11 communes and towns in the district. The teams competed in the knockout format. The tournament had many beautiful balls, attracted many viewers. At the end of tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the first, second, third, and consolation prizes to excellent teams.

Phu Giao district women's volleyball tournament was a practical activity, aimed at exchanging and strengthening the solidarity and close relationships between grassroots associations and members; at the same time, helped staff and members to improve their health, and contributed to the good performance of the campaign "All people exercise their body to follow the great Uncle Ho’s example".
