Surveys at supermarkets in the province showed that Tet-gift baskets had abundant types and designs, prices varies from a few hundred thousand to several million VND. Aeon Mall Binh Duong sells Tet-gift baskets with meaningful names about Tet, specific new year products, such as cakes, jams, processed foods, packaged foods, tea, wine... In addition to traditional gift items, such as jams and tea, gift baskets here were upgraded with foreign confectionery and wine to meet different customers' tastes.

Meanwhile, Co.opmart Binh Duong supermarket system also put on the market more than 50 models of Tet gift baskets  with quality guaranteed, prices ranging from 199,000 to 1,999,000 VND. Among these, 38 models have fixed prices and can be ordered online or at supermarkets, free delivery nationwide. Hoang Long, Director of Binh Duong Co.opmart 1 Supermarket, said this year this supermarket include products of domestic and foreign prestigious brands in Tet gift baskets. Besides, this supermarket also focuses on beautiful appearance, and the proportion of Vietnamese goods still dominates. Similarly, Citimart Aeon Binh Duong supermarket also has many kinds of Tet gift baskets, with prices from a few hundred thousand to several million VND. A representative of this supermarket said that purchasing power of Tet gift baskets had increased lately. Customers are mainly businesses, they buy in large quantities as gifts for their employees and partners.

To select products of clear origin

The market of Tet-gift baskets these days becomes very dynamic, not only in supermarkets, but also in conventional markets, grocery stores, with prices and models range from affordable to high-end. In addition, some shops also sell Tet gift baskets designed specifically for the elderly, with specialty products.

However, this year's retail market is affected by the epidemic, purchasing power is lower than previous years, thus businesses or households selling Tet gift baskets are prioritizing product quality. The owner of Minh Hung grocery store on Phu Loi Street, Thu Dau Mot City, said this year the design of Tet gift baskets is diverse, affordable prices, prioritize domestic products. At Minh Hung store, there are gift baskets from VND 150,000 to VND 1,500,000.

In addition to careful preparation of quantity and designs, Mr. Hoang Long said that the store would enhance door-to-door delivery service. Retailers are committed to guaranteeing control of product origin, through rigorous product quality checks in all stages.

According to functional branches, through inspection and inspection, most food business establishments have well complied with food hygiene and safety requirements. This year, consumers can enjoy stable prices of Tet goods. The stabilization program has been drastically and regularly carried out in the province.
