Poor patients under free cataract surgery

Provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients has just coordinated with provincial Center of Prevention for Social Diseases to provide free cataract surgery for 500 poor patients (photo).

According to Nguyen Van Nam, Chairman of provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients, this is the first free eye surgery program of the association in 2017 with a total expense of VND40million, funded by Binh Duong General Export and Forest Products Joint Stock Company. The association is also mobilizing organizations and individuals to fund cataract surgery for 150 poor patients.
