Project "Preservation and development of Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer-painting village" will be announced in October

Morning 28th Sep, Mai Hung Dung, Provincial Party Standing Member, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to verify the preparation for announcement ceremony of project "Preservation and development of Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer-painting village combined with tourism in Thu Dau Mot City".

The purpose of this project is to disseminate among people, businesses, social organizations, relevant industry associations nationwide in general, in Binh Duong province in particular, the long historical value of a traditional craft village -  intangible cultural heritage, which was recognized by Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism, in Tuong Binh Hiep Ward, Thu Dau Mot City. Thereby, to preserve and develop craft villages combined with local tourism types to contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. It is expected that the announcement ceremony of this project would take place in October 2020 in Tuong Binh Hiep Ward, Thu Dau Mot City. The project budget is VND105 billion. The implementation duration is 4 years (2020 - 2023).

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Mai agreed with the organization plan for the announcement, and proposals of TDM City People's Committee. He also recognized comments of relevant departments and branches to complete the regulations. Mr. Mai asked TDM City People's Committee to carry out the information and dissemination about this to all people.
